6. An error occurred during payment

If an error occurs during payment for the OBD2 Car Scanner, please check your internet connection and the OBD2 Car Scanner app for the latest version. If it is not the latest version, please update the app. Also, please try again after turning the smartphone off and on. If you keep facing the same error, please send me a screenshot or video screen of the error screen along with a specific description of the problem and the log file in an email via [FAQ] – [1:1 Inquiry] of the OBD2 Car Scanner app.

7. DPF data is not verified

OBD2 Car Scanner provides ‘International Standard Data’ and DPF data as ‘Maker’s Data’ which are separately provided by the maker. If DPF data is not provided in the dashboard or monitoring, please download the maker data through the [Settings] – [More data] function. However, the above method may not support the vehicle model or the vehicle ECU version.

8. My vehicle cannot be found in the maker and model list

If you cannot find the maker and model of your vehicle when trying to execute [Register My Car], you can enter the model directly via the [Direct Entry] function at the top of the list. Even if your vehicle is not on the list of makers and vehicles, there is no problem in using the app. The reason for registering the maker and vehicle is to distinguish between vehicles when registering multiple vehicles in the app. If you send a maker or vehicle that is not on the list through [FAQ] – [1:1 Inquiry] in the app, we’ll add it as soon as possible.

9. ERROR: Some data is not available

OBD2 Car Scanner provides some ‘International Standard Data’ and ‘Maker Data’ separately provided by the maker. Even though a lot of data can be provided normally when using the OBD2 Car Scanner app, some data may not be viewed. That’s because the data was classified as ‘maker data’. Our OBD2 Car Scanner is constantly updating to support these data.

10. The fuel economy is different from the actual consumption

If some of the data related to the fuel injection amount and intake air used in the fuel economy calculation are not provided by the vehicle, the fuel economy measurement may be different from actual fuel consumption.

OBD2 Car Scanner developed the [Fuel Economy Correction] and [Fuel Economy Calculation Method] functions to complement such fuel economy errors. If the fuel economy data is different from the actual one, the errors in fuel economy data can be complemented through [Settings] – [Vehicle Data Calibration] – [Fuel Economy Calibration] – [Simple Fuel Efficiency Calibration]- [Fuel Efficiency Calibration by Refueling]. You can change the calculation formula in [Settings] – [Vehicle Data Calibration] – [Fuel economy calculation method] as well.
